—S— Ps 34.14 // Keep turning your back on every sin, and make "peace" your life motto. Practice being at peace with everyone. // Ps 34.14 TPT
—O— Notes on Shalom in TPT
Reminds me of what a good transformation journey description Lost to Found to Whole is (from Life Church Manchester). Shalom is wholeness.
Also parallels the Lord's prayer entreaty, "your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Mt 6.10) Restore things on earth as they are in the unchanging unchallenged rule of God in heaven.
RESULTING IN CHARACTER TRANSFORMATION
From | To |
Lost | Found |
Broken, Shattered, Fragmented | Whole |
Chaos | Order |
Exposed, in danger | Protected, Shielded |
—A— "Keep turning your back on every sin." Christian life is a continual habit and practice of repentance. It never ends. It is a constant endeavor, journey towards peace. That also is unyielding.
Where do I need constant repentance? Where do I need to pursue peace?
—P— Direct my path. Strengthen my resolved. Harden my hatred of sin. Stoke my desire for shalom. XP Amen.
