Included in the concept of Jesus as Lord is our allegiance to him as king and our fidelity to him as his subjects.

Mental agreement. Professed fealty. Embodied loyalty. Faith in Jesus includes what we think, which is our theology, what we say, which is our confession, and what we do, which is our activity. Saying yes to Jesus is to acknowledge him by all these measures.
